The program includes:

• An introduction to the history and basic elements of the concept of human rights
• An introduction to the theme of action for human rights and the public interest.

Depending on additional topics, the programme may include the basics of equality and non-discrimination, an overview of key human rights documents, etc.

• Introduction to the history and basic elements of the concept of human rights, documents, and mechanisms in this topic
• detailed analysis of particular rights and freedoms (e.g. freedom of speech, right to life in the context of the death penalty in Belarus, etc.)
• the topic of equality and non-discrimination, and a practical workshop on human rights and public interest action.

The training in this program focuses primarily on a values-based approach but also contains an introduction to Forum Theatre and other interactive learning methods.

• A detailed analysis of the main human rights instruments and protection mechanisms in practical optics
• An extensive overview of selected rights and freedoms (e.g. freedom of peaceful assembly, the right to express an opinion etc.)
• An examination of the topics of equality and non-discrimination and many practical exercises.
